The AMS (provisioning server) must facilitate management of the cassandra
cluster nodes. Cluster management in Cassandra is supported by a collection of
shell scripts (like nodetool and cassandra-cli). Features that the AMS should
facilitate are for example:
- Add a new fully redundant node to the cluster (meaning change of replication
factor, nodetool repair)
- Remove tombstone rows
- Relocate/move data among nodes in the cluster
- Display cluster information (i.e. data load per node, hits per second)
