Hi Marcel,

Yes, but that doesn't mean that OpenID must be part of 0.2.0. We will need to
release another 0.2.1 before R1.0, so there is no reason why OpenID should
already be contained by 0.2.0 instead of 0.2.1. I like to stick to the 0.2.0
scope we defined a while ago and don't see any reason why OpenID all of a
sudden should be added to 0.2.0.

Regards, Ivo

My reason for asking is that I thought we agreed we were going to merge back
changes from the amdatu.com<http://amdatu.com> branch into
amdatu.org<http://amdatu.org> before releasing R1.0.

Hi Marcel,

The mail of Bram you refer to was not discussed with me and only a proposal.
For the Auth, Cassandra and OpenSocial projects the 0.2.0 versions focus on the
project split-off and finalizing APIs. The 0.2.1 versions focus on finalizing
documentation, releasing artifacts depending on other subprojects and
provisioning support. From that perspective OpenID could be added to Auth 0.2.2
but if the impact is low, we could add it to 0.2.1. On the other hand, as we
are planning to defining an auth framework in 0.2.2, it might be better to wait
for OpenID integration until that framework is setup.

All issues planned for the Amdatu Auth 0.2.0 release have been resolved and
closed. The 0.2.0 Release Candidate 1 release has been created and is now
available. All information, including download links, can be found on this WIKI
page:

As there are no unclosed issues for 0.2.0, it's time to vote for the release of
Amdatu Auth 0.2.0. The vote will be closed upcoming Thursday, August 11, at
17:00. If there are no binding -1 votes, 0.2.0 will be released on Friday,
August 12.

According to the roadmap for R1.0 (posted August 3rd by Bram) the OpenID
integration (http://jira.amdatu.org/jira/browse/AMDATUAUTH-72) should also be
part of the 0.2.0 release. What is the reason for not including it in RC1?

Greetings, Marcel
