Hi All, After releasing Amdatu Big Data RC3 (formerly known as Amdatu Cassandra), a performance issue was found with respect to the Cassandra Persistence Manager, causing excessive garbage allocations. This issue has been in there for a long time (at least since Amdatu 1.1). A quick performance test proved that most methods in the Cassandra Persistence Manager can be improved with a factor 2 till 10 with a simple fix. Because of this major performance improvement, it was decided to include this patch into 0.2.1 and so a new release candidate was created. The improvement that has been applied in RC3 is:
