core.itest.tests no longer run from IDE

None of the tests in the "itest.tests" bundle work when run from an IDE, like
Eclipse. Running them from Maven also seems to give false positives; its output
simply states:
[INFO] --- maven-surefire-plugin:2.8.1:test (default-test) @
org.amdatu.core.itest.tests ---
[INFO] Tests are skipped.
which obviously isn't correct.
