That was a quick look, because neither on my machine (checking out trunk of the auth project) nor on our build server does this project even compile. I suggest you contribute a test case that demonstrates this deadlock that can easily be run. For now I'm moving this to the backlog with a low priority because there's nothing we can do about it and little evidence there actually is a bug in the dependency manager or platform (I'm not saying there isn't, just that I cannot reproduce it at all).
