Hi All, Today I have continued (with help from Bram) the work on upgrading the Auth, OpenSocial and Cassandra subprojects to 1.0.0-RC1. The good news is that I finally succeeded to get it all up and running, provisioned by the AMS (there are still some issues though). Seeing it actually work is pretty cool ;-> The bad news is that it was not that simple. I ran into several issues I think should be resolved before we can formally release 1.0. These issues are:

Bram did also run into AMDATU-571 with 1.0.0-RC1 once (but could not reproduce it, so did not (yet) reopen it). So for that reason, I vote -1. Furthermore I think the development tools for the provisioning situation need attention (if not in 1.0, it should be on the short term roadmap). A simple bundle or configuration update from a maven project can be quite a struggle when using the AMS. Issues like AMDATUMNGMNT-8 are very annoying for developers. I would also like to see AMDATU-659 resolved. In the new multi-tenant design it can be quite a struggle to find out why certain services do not start, the 'dm notavail' command is therefore crucial for me but each bundle update breaks it.
