The kitchensink currently requires you to manually copy the demo's from the release server's demo directory to the server's deploy directory. Besides that this is quite impractical and dirty (imho), we should make use of the provisioning mechanism Amdatu offers. This way, we could just launch a management server and agent (maybe eventually kitchensink-specific) and install the demo's using an installer, which uploads the bundles to the OBR and provisions them. Then, you could easily activate the demo's by dragging the desired distributions (demo's) to the target.
I will create a proof of concept for this and put it on the mailing list.
