Dear Erich,

I compile the 4.8 version bare.

Take the two hex files and flash them separate to the arduino, don't use the 
AVR Studio.

For flashing I use the USBTinyISP.

When I do te flash with the version from the net no problems!

I take the same source as on the net, the 4.8 version.

Are you making the hex files under windows or unix?
And are you take for the arduino the same files as on the net?
