Hello Keith,

I think this is what Tomasz was talking about although I am not sure
as I am new to AB.

my best guess:

1. help files

help manual version 4.80

> (click on) contents > tutorial > user interface > customising user
interface and scroll down to the picture of the built in image
editor.

2. application

write a script or similar to turn workspace windows on/off and save
it to C/program files/Amibroker/scripts/.

>tools > customise > tools tab and add the above to the tools list
as a new tool, then assign the above command path to the new tool.

3. toolbar

from another tab at tools > customise you can also create a new
toolbar (it will appear in the toolbar list as custom 1 with the
checkbox selected and it should then be seen alongside your other
active toolbars).

from the tools > customise > commands tab select tools from the
categories list and then user defined from the command list ( I
think that if the new tool is fifth in the tool list it will be user
defined 5 in the commands list but maybe not).

Drag the user defined command and drop it on the new toolbar.

4. toolbar image

tools > customise > right click any toolbar icon to change the image
or right click a new toolbar to set an image.

... or something like that - it's a start.

As to what the scipt should be I have no idea; my expertise ran out
way back at 'assign macro to button in intoduction to computing 101'.

Brian.
