I can only say that AmiBroker does not generate any *.stg file.

 

You can use SysInternals software www.sysinternals.com

 

 

to find out which program really does.

 

BTW: FileMon reports processes (ie. .EXE files) only and

will report the EXE which loaded the DLL and/or in-proc ActiveX (COMobject)

even if file writing occurs inside DLL , not inside .EXE

(This applies to DLL plugins)

Tried to figure out where it came from

I am almost positive that Batman and or IO produces it now

So when I thought it came from AB it actually comes from the other two.

It's probably NOT AB that is creating that file.
