Think through the process. First you define the variable and then
enter into tooltip. Later you add/delete variables and then modify
tooltip. The goal being discussed is to have variables and their
values automatically added/deleted during coding (that's the point
you are missing) and subsequently displayed with a "click" (in a
user specified display mode), thereby eliminating the need to
constantly modify title(), printf, tooltip, etc., etc.

For that i use tool-tips, or PlotText() at the selected bar. I guess
i am missing the point...

Not interested in array changes just the value at a selected point
(could be last bar) which is useful in the code development stage.

You would need a debugger. AFL Is a array processing language...
displaying array changes is not as simple as displaying numbers.
What i have done lots of times is plot the variables. I have also
used stacks of ribbons to show me how binary states evolve over time.

The problem is not how the variable values are displayed
(interpretation, title, or as you note tooltip) but having to type
them into printf, title(), or tooltip as one is developing code.
Maybe it is impossible, but ideally once variables are defined their
values could be displayed with a click in whatever output is
desired. In the meantime, we all stumble along.

ToolTip = ?
using "\n" and selected bar, you have quite a few entries in table
form.
DebugView?

Instead of Interpretation window I sometimes find that Title() is a
faster/easier route but both get the job done in a somewhat
cumbersome way. Wish we had a built-in button that displayed the
values without having to code them into printf or Title(). From
time to time, I have tried to develop a function that would
automatically pick up variable values during code development and
display them in the Interpretation window or title but no luck so far.
