Thanks Tomasz: After I wrote that note I realized it's probably user dumbness in that I've never mastered the security and cookie settings on IE 8. That might have caused it. I use Chrome when ever I want very little in the way of filtering but it doesn't support one of the script editors that I use.
The danger of knowing enough to be dangerous is how I would type myself Hope and the family are doing well.
