thanks keith, but my yahoo account has just been set up for this AB forum only, so i dont get any personal email sent here, they go to my hotmail account
so all i want to be able to do is open up my inbox and see my own AB questions that i have asked and maybe all the ther 97 or so (as it stands now) to be recieved into a different folder you're 100% right, skimming through other email helps me learn quite a bit, but i am just conscious of not overloading myself with to much info at the moment hence me qualifying it in my previous email by saying 'for now'. I didnt want to come across abnoxious, by saying im only interested in my own stuff so is it possible to have those other emails come into another folder? if so, what are the steps involved? thanks in advance ________________________________ From: Keith McCombs <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Mon, 28 December, 2009 1:17:58 PM Subject: Re: [amibroker] HOW TO REDUCE INBOX SIZE Joseph -- Personally, I learn a lot from reading other peoples' posts (and I keep them ALL). But I don't let the AB posts get in the way of my non-AB emails, because I set up separate sub-folders under my inbox just for emails with 'from:' containing words like "amibro...@yahoogro ups.com" and "amibroker-afl@ yahoogroups. com" and many more. Most email clients (Outlook, Thunderbird, etc.) can differentiate between different emails using 'Filters'. -- Keith Joseph Occhipinti wrote: > >hi all > > >i have about 100+ new emails sitting in my inbox, i am only >interested - for now - in the questions i have asked (until my AB >knowledge grows), as such i would only like to display those emails.
