See my earlier (rather long) posting. The situation hasn't changed with the
new beta I'm afraid.  :(

There is one thing which I mentioned in my earlier post which may be worth
investigating.

I mentioned that the files show different times (they differ by 1 hour)
depending upon whether EPOC32 mode or EPOC16 mode is used. I have just
tried listing the directory D:\data\databases\ (as listed in my earlier
post) using S5-dir (part of the S5-trans package) and it correctly shows all
of the entries in the directory but it /also/ shows them with the *wrong* time -
the "EPOC16" time.

It's odd that the files show up correctly on both AmigaNCP (EPOC16) and S5-trans
only if you are prepared to accept the wrong timestamp!  

(I may be completely off track here but this just seemed like too much of a
coincidence to let it pass without comment).
