Job Description:
1. Provide front-line infrastructure support:
2. Support scope covers server administration, troubleshooting and technical
support for multi-platform:
3. Resolve internal clients/server end user issues.
-- Thoroughly logging all required information into an existing call tracking
tool.
-- Provide first level support on all issues relating to Unix workstations and
new workstation setup throughout customer sites in AP.
-- Provide minor hardware repair for workstations. The hardware and spare parts
will be provided by customer.
-- Replace hard disk.
-- Install and replace GBIB cards.
-- Install and replace network cards.
-- Maintain and troubleshoot servers
-- Perform file system backup (weekly and monthly) and restore.
-- Utilizing technical knowledge and problem solving skills.
-- Resolve internal clients/server end user issues.
-- Involved in infrastructure and application support of Business Product
Transfer program/projects.
-- Provide testing and move-to-production assistance to IT team members.
-- Maintaining communication with end users.
4. Monitor health of computing resources (eg monitoring, disk management,
technical planning, consulting, system imaging and configuration), as well as
compliance to security, patching requirements, anti-virus, mitigating
vulnerabilities and ensuring compliance both locally and globally.
5. Perform disaster recovery on servers with Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP).
6. Scripting.
7. Coordination of server downtime between business users & various IT teams.
8. Documents changes made on program, jobs & schedules.
9. Document known solutions/workarounds.
10. Work well with other team members and customers.
General skill:

Job Description:
1. Provide front-line infrastructure support:
Support scope covers server administration, troubleshooting and technical

1.Manage a team of support staff located across AP region,
2.Track and Monitor service requests
3.Perform lead role as AP lead, to organize monthly review meeting pulling
together data & reports from other team members based in AP sites.
4.Work on monthly call statistics and root cause analysis
5.Define processes and ensure adherence
6.Planning and Task allocation
7.Ensure that knowledge management processes are implemented
8.Initiate process improvement project and cross-sharing session across
supported AP sites.
9.Support taskforce and AP projects where required.
10.Consolidate OVSD call metrics and security compliance for AP region and
facilitate monthly review meeting with outsource and management team.
