Am I the only person to get regular hangs with AmIRC?
There are two scenarios:
1. I absolutely can't run YAM and AmIRC together. The moment they exist
together, the whole thing completely locks up!
2. It often, though not always, hangs just after it's done the notify, or
maybe during the notify. It's difficult to tell. The only obvious thing is
that it has just displayed a few nicks of people that are on.
I suppose I could clear out my notify list in case it is directly related
(it's got quite big over time!) but I don't really want to have no notify
list, and the problem is sporadic.
The mouse won't move when this happens, though oddly the Titlebar clock
still manages to tick away.
I guess I could run SnoopDOS and see what's going on exactly just as it
hangs, but given that there was a time when YAM and SnoopDOS didn't seem to
like coexisting either, I don't like doing that!
Has anyone come across anything similar or got any other ideas?
