.. Thankyou very much for taking the time to do that. :)

.. A System requestor still comes up though, (only 1 this time),
right after Item 7 in my SnoopDOS log. SnoopDOS doesn't give a
clue as to the reason why. Here is the output from log for 1-7:

Count Process Name Action Target Name Options Res.
----- ------------ ------ ----------- ------- ----
1 AmIRC ChangeDir Work:Internet/AmIRC
2 AmIRC Open Work:Internet/AmIRC/AmIRC Read OK
3 AmIRC ChangeDir SYS:
4 AmIRC ChangeDir Work:Internet/AmIRC
5 ramlib Load LIBS:vapor_toolkit.library OK
6 AmIRC Open PROGDIR:amirC-3.key Read OK
7 AmIRC Open ENVARC:MUI/AMIRC.config Read OK

* Requestor Says: Volume System_3.1 is write protected
* vapor_toolkit.library is your new version 12.3 (07/31/99)
* SnoopDOS does not give even an inkling of what is going on

.. I was hoping this library would also fix the problem with AmFTP
continually saving any changed Profiles, but I guess not. :( Still
get requestors telling me my drive is locked, because it insists on
saving the .AmFTPProfiles any time I touch the AmFTP program. I even
have MUI set to not save changes on exit, because I want all stuff
left the way it was, when I started the program. :(

.. Thanks again for the new vapor_toolkit.library
