I have had no problems using the Iconify feature in Amirc
since I have upgraded--it must be something with your 
version of MUI.  When you Iconify AMIRC, it should be
a button on your Workbench screen --usually with the
server that you are on.  In the case of multiple threads,
it should iconify the one you specify.
