AmIRC 3.3 seems very stable on my OS3.5 030/40, 32mb system, until I go
redial with Genesis, AmIRC will crash when retrying a server, no matter
what I try to do. The interesting thing is, since installing OS3.5, I
had no and limited hacks/patches, whatever installed. Running Snoopdos
does show some kind of clash with the MUI routines. However, AmIRC
isn't the only MUI software that seem to suffer from this, Voyager 3
behaves in a same manner, whilst Microdot II is very stable. Threading
seems fine until I retry a new server in the same thread, eg, /server
solace.xnet.org
However, AmIRC2.2 haven't crashed at all under OS3.5 when I was running
it.
Im sorry that Im unable to attach bug reports as I am nowhere near my
Amiga atm.

No thanks, I've spent ages trying to build a stable, no-nonsense
computer :) Unfortunately, it's 300 miles away and I can't touch it
till I comes back from uni :(
