Confirmed. Clicking the right mouse button over the text input gadget
causes the system to instantly freeze.

For a moment, I thought this wasn't working, but then I reread this
history entry and realized I had to switch the thing on in Setup
before it started working. Stupid me.
This is *definitely* by far the best improvement. I *really* needed
this feature, as I don't want stuff missing from my logfiles when I
crash. Thank you Olli! Thank you so much!

Try using the tab/page mode. :) I've always used it (mainly because
having 5-6 windows open on a 640x512 AGA screen is rather hellish in
trying to make sense of it all. I'm having no problems with slowdown at all.
Also, you could try reducing the colors of the AmIRC screen (if you're
running it on a separate screen). On a non-GFX-board Amiga like mine,
changing from 64 colors to 8 colors gives one heck of a speedup. :)

A couple of bugs:
1) Log: In Setup, separating logfile tokens with a slash (for
example, %c/%d) does not create a new directory if one doesn't already exist. The
program states that it's logging to %c/%d, but no disk
activity occurs, and no logfile is written out. However, if the
directory already exists, logging works normally.
2) GUI: When 'Auto Open Dialog Windows' is switched on, if you receive a /msg, you get
a dialog window to the sender opened automatically.
However, this does not work if you get a /describe instead, the
message is just shown on last used channel window.

I'd also like to suggest some improvements:
1) Log: How about a %o token to implement 'month'? This way, you
could setup logging to, for example, %c/%o/%c%d, and the program would
automatically arrange all your logfiles neatly and tidily first by
nick and then by month. This would be extremely handy for those who
log a lot.
2) GUI: An easier way of moving between tabs via keyboard. Using
Amiga-<Number> only works with channel windows, not query windows. It
would be good if you could page thru the tabs with a keystroke. I
suggest Alt-RightArrow and Alt-LeftArrow to move right and left among
the tabs, and Shift-Alt-RightArrow and Shift-Alt-LeftArrow to move to
the extreme right and left in the tabs. These keycombinations, as far
as I can tell, are unused so far.

Is Olli reading this list, or should I have cc'd this to him?
