I wish I could say the same, but with my old 040/25, 3.3 and 3.4 are
much slower than 3.2.

My method for testing this is to join 4 or 5 busy channels where people
are joining/parting/quiting, and there is a good bit of channel chatter
then trying to type in the input line...

I find that with 3.2, my typing (around 90wpm) will be displayed almost
as fast as I enter characters.

However, with 3.3 and 3.4, I can type a dozen words, and hit return
yet, the characters being displayed in the input line are way behind,
sometimes as much as 5 or 6 entire words.

I tried it on a seperate machine just to be sure it was not OS 3.5 that
was the culprit, and had the same results, only on an 030/50, it was
FAR worse...

If you are in one or two channels, or even 4 or 5 that are not very
busy, you will not see this problem at all, you need to be in pretty
busy channels to notice it.
