I have experienced the same problem in a busy channel. It never happens
in an idle channel when I control-z the window.

Sure, it could be OS3.5, but I seriously doubt it as it does it on my old
OS2 with no patches at all as well.

Sad but true. While I was on vacation, my busy busy system (runs a BBS,
FTPd, HTTPd, and gateway for half a dozen other machines that have everything
from IRCds and other IRC clients to accessable NAMEd, FTPd's, HTTPds and
shells), ran absolutely flawlessly. But when I have AmIRC running, I do
run out of memory quickly after it has been running for 4 or 5 days sitting
on about 6 channels.... AmIRC just seems to keep using up memory and
never give it back... I can clear all the windows, but that doesn't help.

I have tried running AmIRC without ANY scripts, and get the same effect.

Still, I say AmIRC is the best Amiga IRC client out there. And for people
who don't stay online FOREVER, it probably never shows it's bad side. =)

I'm using AGA on the A4kT... But it does it with my Picasso II+ too in another
machine.
