I have AmIRC set to log channels and query windows to files where the date is part of the name, but it doesn't quite work. It seems that AmIRC re-examines the file names every now and then to figure out whether to start logging to different files, but unfortunately it doesn't do this at midnight, or even once a day. I have some files that contain several days' worth of ramblings, whereas others are missing entirely. Another thing that annoys me is the long (5 secs or so) delay when I click the 'Connect' button in the 'Select Server' window when there are open channel windows.
