Tony, I forgot to mention this the other day when you were asking about
2 watt carbon composition resistors, but I do have some photographs of
the Johnson Thunderbolt 6 dB swamping attenuator (p/n 250-42-3) intended
for use with the Hallicrafters HT-32 transmitter. I can e-mail them to
you if you want to re-create either of the two T-bolt attenuators so you
can duplicate the parts layout. Write if interested.
Oh, by the way, list: I went to Orlando over the weekend and found out
that Skycraft Parts & Surplus in Winter Park, FL has one standard metric
PANTLOAD of carbon composition resistors. Got all of the 1200 ohm and
4700 ohm 2 watt parts I needed for my Ranger/T-bolt swamping attenuator
(woo-hoo!). Also got all of the polyester capacitors I needed to re-cap
my HRO-60. HAPPY DANCE!
