Did National ever make a receiver on which the tuning knob pulled out slightly to become the band switch?
If they didn't, who might have made such a mechanical monster? I am trying to help a friend identify a receiver which he has acquired that has this unusual band switch arrangement. All of the model information is gone from the unit. I asked about the National because there is a bit of paper label remaining on the bottom of the unit with the letters "NC." Any ideas?
