Jack - the typical, normal HV winding of a plate transformer consists of this:
RED/YELLOW = center tap. RED X 2 = HV AC to rectifier plates. Better check the schematic of the Ranger, but I am 99% sure that is going to be where they should go. Bry > Now I have a mystery.
