I am looking at the multi-wire 'cage' antenna. This is a ware design which simulates a very fat conductor with multiple wires in a column-shape. Much broader bandwidth than a thin-wire antenna, and doesn't soak up water - but definitely heavy, very involved, and has a lot more wind load. ______________________________________________________________ AMRadio mailing list List Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/amradio Partner Website: http://www.amfone.net Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.html Post: mailto:AMRadio@mailman.qth.net
