Hi Rick, It was probebly the PW dial which had the vernier built in. It was a 10:1 ratio. Sold fopr $7.95 in 1945. Other dials in the series were the PO-0 series which had the gear reduction in a vertical or horizontal arrangement behind the panel but used a similar looking dial.
