Originally manufactured by CBS, the Volumax units were work horses of the broadcast industry for many years. The 4300 dates from the mid-70s. This unit was professionally refurbished in 2001. The 4300 features both manual and automatic phase reversal and asymmetric peak limiting with up to 125% modulation in the positive direction. Panel space is one rack unit. The original manual and service receipt are included. $250. Marti CLA-40H compressor-limiter. Another classic broadcast audio processor. Mode selection includes AM-FM and symmetric-asymmetric limiting. Panel space is two rack units. Very good condition but no manual. $150. Rane GE-30 Single channel, 30 band graphic equalizer with separate high cut and low cut filters. Operates in both cut/boost and cut modes. Output is switchable between transformer and active coupling. Panel space is two rack units. Excellent condition with manual and power supply (wall transformer). $150 Aphex 104 aural exciter. Adds bass and/or harmonics for richer sound. Panel space is one rack unit. Excellent condition with manual and power supply (wall transformer). $100. Behringer 9024 Ultra-Dyne Pro multi-band processor. Provides 6 user-defined bands of EQ, compression. Limiting, etc. This is a very versatile instrument that can be experimented with endlessly.
