I keep being surprised how many people are running AM these days. Not but a few years ago it was pretty rare to hear an AM QSO on the bands, especially beyond 3885 and 7290. But there are lots of operators working AM now. The other night one of the guys was actually complaining about there being too many AMers now. He was bemoaning the fact that "slopbucket" ops were starting to get on AM. I just smiled...
