Those who memorize the answers to get a higher level ticket are only cheating themselves. One of the most outstanding qualities old time operators have/had is their knowledge of radio. Today it is easier to get an Extra ticket to allow you to have full access to all frequencies available to Amateur Operators, but if you take the time and expend the effort to learn the theory you will have a much richer experience and enjoy the fruit of your efforts even more.
