I have an SX-24 that I restored that is OK but the S meter circuit is kinda flaky being tough to zero. Sensitivity on 20 15 and 10 is very marginal and the IF really needs to be aligned to the crystal in the IF chain. It is a good AM receiver with very nice full audio but not a great CW receiver.
73 and good luck this receiver is worth your time to restore it. Ken Sands K8TFD On Fri, Apr 3, 2009 at 3:09 PM, <n9...@aol.com> wrote: > I stumbled upon a SX-24 on Craigslist last summer.
