Bob, No this is in a Drake R-4c, that is why it is a tad irritating, if it was in the '610 it would probably not notice so much, also I have spares for all of them. I have removed it and am going to leave it in a pot of varnish overnight, better not put it in the oven the Turkey might taste a bit odd on the 25th ;-) it will either make no difference or will sort it, all the laminations look tight and it is already varnished maybe there is a small looseness somewhere however the bobbin looks tight enough. it is 30 years old though maybe something has moved over time. 73 Max M0GHQ/KJ4ISS
