Hello all,

I was asked to forward this along to the -bb. Please listen for these guys
as they practice for a fall DXpedition. I think FM-24 might be a rare one on
satellite as well.

CY0 Simulation Test - WA4DAN, AA4VK, and N0TG will operate from "Core Banks"
(IOTA NA-67, FM-24), on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, on an island that
is similar in environment (terrain, sand, sea, remoteness, etc.) to Sable
Island, during the period 2300Z on April 29 through 1500Z on May 2. The
team will reach the island by boat in late afternoon, with approximately the
same amount of day-light remaining as Day-1 at Sable island. This exercise
will help to determine the CY0 Day-1 strategy for which antennas to erect
before night fall.

The CY0 Team is considering including FM Satellite operations at Sable
Island and will make a substantial effort during the "CY0 simulation test"
to demonstrate the feasibility of including this mode in the DXpedition.
Times and satellites to be used for FM Satellite Operations during the
simulation test is listed at the Team website at
http://www.cy0dxpedition.com .
