Hello Jeff, unfortunately I don't have an G6LVB Tracker. But as far as I know, the built in USB-to-Serial adapter doesn't work on 64-bit Windows systems.
Your friend could try an external USB-to-Serial adapter and steer the LVB Tracker via the serial port. May be there are others but the only USB-to-Serial adapter I know that works on 64-bit Vista and Windows 7 is the Prolific single port USB-to_Serial adapter. For Vista 64-bit and Windows 7, 64-bit, you need the latest driver version. It can be downloaded here: http://www.prolific.com.tw/eng/downloads.asp?id=31 >From that page download the "PL2303 Prolific Driverinstaller v1210.zip" 73s, Erich, DK1TB ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jeff KB2M" <k...@comcast.net> To: "'amsat-bb@AMSAT.Org'" <amsat-bb@amsat.org> Sent: Thursday, May 20, 2010 3:10 AM Subject: [amsat-bb] SatPC32 with 64 bit VISTA > I'm trying to help a new SAT op get his 64 bit VISTA laptop running with > SatPC32, LVB Tracker Box(USB), and a Yaesu az el rotor.
