The IC-9100 is far from being a bargain - one can find pristine IC-910's for 
around $900, or $1500 with the 1.2 GHz module installed. In my case, I have 
plenty of HF radios, so I just needed to add UHF and VHF. A TS-2000 goes from 
$1600 to $2000 ...
