Everyone, What is a normal setup, there is an interface unit that goes in-between the computer and the rotor control. I have a Yaesu G5400 that has the DIN plug in the rear that directly connects to the "LVB Tracker box" that I purchased from AMSAT (a fundraiser for them and available for sale on their website). It is easy to hook up and directly connects to many rotor software products- The SATPC32 that AMSAT sells not only controls your rotor but it will control your Doppler correction if you use it to tune your radio via another port. Check the web for other devices and schemes to control rotors. 73, Dee, NB2F

Is that not so? (I have not yet installed the rotor, so no big deal ...yet) Hmmmm...Ted, K7TRK -----Original Message----- From: amsat-bb-boun...@amsat.org [mailto:amsat-bb-boun...@amsat.org] On Behalf Of Dave Webb KB1PVH Sent: Thursday, June 02, 2011 4:05 PM To: Tim Tuck Cc: amsat-bb@amsat.org Subject: [amsat-bb] Re: Rotator Control units Tim, I'm using an Easy Rotor Controller model ERC-R. http://easy-rotor-control.com/ Dave - KB1PVH Sent from my Verizon Wireless DROID X On Jun 2, 2011 6:09 PM, "Tim Tuck" <t...@skybase.net> wrote: _______________________________________________ Sent via AMSAT-BB@amsat.org.
