Hi Folks,

Hoping someone may have some ideas on a fault that has just developed in my
FT-736R radio.

The multi function S-meter has decided to quit on me. It does not indicate in
either receive, transmit, diiscriminator/ALC or any other position of the meter
selector switch. The radio though, still functions perfectly on both transmit
and receive - with no indication of any degradation in sensitivity or transmit
output power.

I will be pulling it to bits, but thought I'd first check to see whether anyone
has come across this particular fault.
The radio was bought new in the '90's and I have fixed one fault in the power
supply about 10 years ago.
Many thanks for reading this.

                                           73,
                                           Ron Taylor - VK6TF
                                           Perth, Australia.
