So, VO-52 is either broken or pointless?

Why would you want to lug around so much equipment to work a satellite?  Not to 
mention the difficulty in aiming such a sharp aerial at it - you'd need a 
computer-controlled rotator.  And if you're going to have to sit in front of a 
computer to make a QSO you may as well use Skype.
