Gordon,

Most of these programs date back to the DOS and OS/2 days.  At one point I 
started on a Python program
which would:

Read and clean multiple Kep files. 
Remove duplicates, selecting the most recent.
Rename objects to the AMSAT standard names.
Sort the order of the objects.
Write a file with only selected objects.

I think I got half of the first line done before moving on to another, more 
urgent project.  :)  On my
To Do list after I retire, for the 4th time.
