ok then...
if you are SURE that you're using msnp9 then here's what I would suggest :
in the "Add contact" window, choose a different group than the default "No group" one... if that still doesn't work, you have to go to windows and add it from windows and use ethereal and send us the packet dump so we can compare wat makes it work in windows and not in amsn...

Yes, I know that the timestamps are diferent... The status log was with
new timestamps just to show that I was ALWAYS using MSNP 9, besides, I
restarted Amsn to be sure that he will run in 9 from the begining....

If i showed the right timestamps, somebody will ask to get sure that I
was using MSNP9....

As said in Portugal, "Arrested because I have a dog, or arrested because
I don't have a dog"......

Hi,
Thanks Harry for answering, as you are 100% right.. I will wait for
Nuno's update after he sets protocol to 9 and RESTART amsn (we never
know...)
if you look at the protocol log, the error returned is 208, which is
(taken from hypothetic website) :

208
Invalid principal-name
Sent from the switchboard in reply to a CAL which specifies an
invalid account name.
    >>> CAL 2 @@a\r\n
    <<< 208 2\r\n

which means that the email adress is invalid.. this is probably
because you're sending an MSNP9 command to add a contact and you're
connected with MSNP11...

Hey,

The Protocol log doesn't have the same timestamps as the status log,
it's
earlier.

And, you should logout, change protocol, login. Not just change
protocol while
being logged in, for in that case the server won't be notified of
the change.

So please make sure you're on protocol 9, then login, try to add the
contact.
If it doesn't work, report like below.

This happens with every mail I put there.... [EMAIL PROTECTED] does the
