and NO missing files.. yeah... ouch, that's too much to do I guess
+ testing... I'd prefer you provide the skin and find a way to force the
use of the ubuntu skin (change the default value in config.tcl)..
don't forget we might have some other skins broken because they are
expecting to use a pixmap from the default skin and instead it uses the
ubuntu skin's pixmap and it breaks the skin...
no, as Jerome said, be very careful with this, provide the skin separatly
(inside the package) and have a slightly modified source in that package,
having the ubuntu skin as the default one chosen (not as the 'default'
skin) ...

Do as you wish, but I would prefer you have it clearly mentioned
somewhere that the ubuntu package is not using the default skin of
aMSN...
also, I'd prefer we keep the default one somewhere too, maybe in a dir
called 'amsn-default'...

It is good to have aMSN integrate in the user's desktop as well as
possible. I think an Ubuntu package should be 'tuned' for Ubuntu. So
as we
have an Ubuntu skin, that one should be the default one on Ubuntu...
I agree too, the Ubuntu package should be set with the ubuntu skin as
default.
Who's creating Ubuntu's package anyways?
The same goes for any other package: it should default to a skin that
matches the default look of the distro, if such a skin is available.
Otherwise it should use our default skin.
Apart from Mac, we don't have any distro specific skins. :P
