Yeah well that's the point, there is aDarwin, Unified, aMSN for Mac, snowgrey and new plugins (in amsn-extras, like texim and we probably need to update some on the website, I don't know). So I'm waiting for news from Thomas about the upload/status of everything.

Thanks =)

A guy emailed me and has made a skin, it's on the xcoded site, I think he wanted it putting on the amsn website...its called snowgrey. I'm sure Thomas is aware of it, just checking :)

PLZ don't use theses links as download links, just upload it to the CVS module.

You can find other skins there:
http://amsn.xcoded.com/page2/page2.html

But ask the authors before adding theses on amsn website (thoses I gave are ok but not the others on the website)
To contact them, just ask them on that thread on the aMSN Mac forum

Ok,
great,
can you please check which skins are 0.95-compatible ?
just send me the list of the skins, I'll pack them and release them myself. If a skin is not in CVS amsn-extras but is compatible 0.95, then you can
send it to me and I'll upload it.
Jerome, where's adarwin v4 and Unified ? are they uploaded somewhere ? in
amsn-extras ? can you send them please if they're not ..

P.s.: Same should be done for plugins, who volunteers ?
Thanks,
KaKaroTo

Who volunteer to upload skins and plugins? Or may be there's already
someone? Plz tell us and we will try to remember :P There's some
skins that are not on CVS so I need to talk to you.

The email of the guy of Bitrock is there:

who's the skins and plugins maintainers, I need them all to upload
to the SF system...

I release the .tar.gz and .tar.bz2 files, I'll put the .deb file too, I'm not sure about rpm.. I can easily create it, BUT I have a
debian system, I'd prefer it to be created by the appropriate
persons...

p.s.: I'm doing the bitrock installer now but it seems my license file is outdated (worked for version 2.4 but now 3.01 is the latest)

As I said before, if you notice there's something missing to the
changelog, ADD IT OR TELL US NOW!
:-)

For the communication, wait ;-)
We will first introduce the new website. When the new website
will run
good, we will release on Sourceforge all the packages (we are
waiting
for packagers to create their package). Then we will link that
to the
new website. Then we will make announcements (we will tell
people here
to make publicity around the word, slashdot, linuxfr, etc...).
Then all
the people with 0.94 will get the alert on launching aMSN "a new
version is available, blablabl".

Ok ...

What are the other projects you are working on?

Arf ... much less known projects (GASELL, COLLIFAN,
TestLink, ...) ...
and my professors have nicely given me some work before the finals :D

Anyway ... is there an official CHANGELOG somewhere ? What about the
communication ? I can post on Linuxfr.org an article for the
release ...

To get the official 0.95 aMSN (to create your packages)

cvs export -rRelease-0_95 -d export msn

So now, can someone contact the packagers?

Can I create the tar.gz package? Portage system uses the
tarball to
install
the package and since I want to create the ebuild now I'll
need it.
