For the MSN7 skin, some ppl asked my permission to update it, and even make a "MSN 7.5" skin of it. I've seen preview etc that look quite good but never saw anything "finished". Maybe I'll try to find out what's going on and see who's doing what or updfate it myself ... as I do think the MSN-like skins are important - though I'm not a big fan of the look as it doesn't fit in my desktop - for new users who are used to the MSN look. It might sound stupid, but it's very easy to change if the same icons are used for the same actions :) It's just how our brain works.
About the plugins, I still have copies on my computer and I have still plans to work further on 'm .. though I think it's will be basically more like "rewrite" as it was one of my first things (the ccard plugin was my first 'usefull' tk-thing ever). But right now the ccards aren't very usefull as they are meant to give an interface to the MSN-spaces support which it doesn't have :). As I don't know about protocol stuff it would be a good lesson for me to do it .. but not right now :). After my exams I'll have to find this thread and deal with it :). My ctray plugin is not very usefull neither but I stopped working on it as I didn't use it myself (same goes on for the ccard though I would use it as I miss the spaces support ... my gf has such a space with a lot of photos :)). The ctray plugin needs save support ... without it it's quite stupid I guess :) I once wanted to code it but then I wanted it to save in his own xml file ... but I didn't see directly how to deal with the xml parsing/writing .. so I gave up :$ I might retry :) I think more important for me then ctray is the inkdraw plugin though .. it has more functionality that doesn't have a GUI yet, like changing colors, changing pencils, drawing lines, loadiong images ... I had someone contact me about it and read some blogposts about the 0.95 release that praise the ink drawing .. so I might work on that :D Ow, before I forget, the actionmenu plugin ... that's also used I see .. I made it as a test but some poeple seem to like it .. well then I'll add skinning support to it I guess .. if I have courage, make it a snit object etc ... hmmm ... whoever wants to jump in, feel free! :D This mail is already long enough. I could type a lot more but in fact I won't be able to work on this things right now and I should be studying .. no, sleeping now :-) Karel.
