Vivia's option is about the mail icon. I personally don't think we need
an option for not showing a tayicon. I'm not sure about it, biut I
think it's something only "advanced users" will want to have. "Normal"
users use the trayicon imo. Those advanced users should be advanced
enough to remove the library which disables the trayicon too I think.
Maybe you could add it in the faq. This option is good to still have in
the code so plugins can use it. As I already said, I'd like such options
(and a whole other lot) to be in a "extended preferences" plugin.
