hummm... ok thanx. Now.. how about we ask in #tcl which of the two ways is the best ? and then use that one only ? I think tcl_platform is there for something... and the wsystem way was used only for mac and because mac had (I think, correct me if I'm wrong) either the aqua environment or 'another' environment and for mac, the different changes made to port aMSN were for the aqua wsystem not for all mac system...
