eval exec --uname -s tell what is the platform of the computer, it doesn't tell if the binary package of amsn is PPC or Universal

but the most easiest answer was just right there..."CATCH"...hehe...with that, whatever it is, I can make it works

thanks for the SVN link

humm.. ok, but how about :

eval exec -- uname -s

or -a or whatever is needed to get the version number ?

maybe you can use that to determine which file to load, and if you can't get the info from there, then try a catch {

load }, works, yes, good, no, try other dylib...

also, you could put those binaries in a separate folder so you can reduce the size of the download, and have a message

say "do a checkout of this URL..." if the dylibs files aren't there...

p.s.: You might want to read the http://svnbook.red-bean.com (I think) and read about the SVN property svn:external
