ahh ok, we could move them to utils/windows... but I don't know if it's
necessary.. and I think it doesn't have its place there, I mean, whenever you
see a windows program that depends on something else, you simply download
pre-compiled dev packages and add them to your include/lib path in VS.. you
don't need to have the source and compile it yourself too... I see this the
same as "we should put the tcl/tk sources in amsn SVN so we can link our
extensions against tcl/tk when building on Windows".. no, we don't, we sinmply
install Tcl/Tk and that's it... don't you think ?
My advice is to remove them, and I also think for Linux, it would be best if we
kept libpng/zlib/jpeg as a dependency on the configure rather than
'if not found used shipped version', I don't like that...
btw, did we add that as a dependency on the deb file (RPM/autopackage specs?)...

about autopackage, I'm sorry, can't tell you much.. how did you build it ? did
you carefully read the instructions on how to build files on
autopackage website ? I think it should be compiled with apgcc instead of gcc
or maybe run apbuild on the executables after compiling.. not sure, but
I think it's well explained. Can you tell me what you did and I'll try to do it
too on my own then we'll see where the process fails ?

Thanks for your answer.
