that would be ok, but still I would like to see some text; plus if that is 
an anigif, it would keep on moving even if all went stuck (as the globe does 
in the default skin) so it would fail in both giving the user a feedback of 
"something is happening" and "when did the app get stuck"; with a percentage 
you could at least say "it's at xx%" and you devs could guess ("if it is a 
xx% it's probably [insert here]"). With the bouncing cursor you wouldn't 
know (and actually this does happen with apps such as synaptic when the 
config of a deb asks for user interaction), unless you press alt+s, hoping 
that the log window has already been loaded.

I don't want to be polemic, guys, of course :) I like this kind of 
discussions :)
