Attached is a package of the winicons converted to 24-bit true color with no alpha (hopefully removing that alpha channel is the key). I've also tried converting to 256 color (8-bits), but the results were similar to the 24-bit appearance. If the 24-bit version will not work, I'll make a 256 color 8-bit version and re-send.
